KILMEEN DRAMA GROUP

Kilmeen Drama Group are based in Rossmore, West Cork, home of the West Cork Drama Festival. They are one of the longest established groups in the country and have qualified for the Finals in Athlone on 14 occasions since their first appearance in 1976.

In 2006 Kilmeen Drama Group were crowned All-Ireland Champions with their award winning production of “A Crucial Week in the Life of a Grocer’s Assistant” by Tom Murphy.
Other recent productions include “Sharon’s Grave”, “Dancing at Lunasa”, “The Lonesome West”, “All my Sons”, “Portia Coughlan”, “The House”, “By the Bog of Cats”.
