SUMMARY:Confined Finalists Dunmore Amateur Drama Society in 'Faith Healer'
DESCRIPTION:Dunmore Amateur Dramatic Society are presenting ‘Faith Healer’ by Brian Friel at Dean Crowe Theatre\, Athlone\, on Wednesday 1st May 2024. Dunmore Amateur Dramatic Society (DADS) will represent the Confined groups as they placed second in the competition. \nComplimentary tickets available from the Dean Crowe Theatre box office: (090) 649 2129. \n \nAbout DADS\nDADS (Dunmore Amateur Dramatic Society) revived drama in Dunmore in 2003 with a local\nproduction of ‘Da’ by Hugh Leonard. Since 2005 they have been regular participants on the Three\nAct Circuit\, achieving 2nd place on three occasions in the Confined All-Ireland Finals: 2011 – The\nGood Father by Christian O’Reilly; 2015 – Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me by Frank McGuinness;\n2016 –The Gigli Concert by Tom Murphy. In 2013\, DADS won 1st place in the All-Ireland Confined\nOne Act Finals with A Galway Girl by Geraldine Aron.
