Members of the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival committee headed by Festival Director Regina Bushell travelled to Dublin’s Abbey Theatre on Thursday 25th April 2024.
Attending the launch at the Abbey Theatre were the 9 finalist drama groups, alongside RTÉ Director-General, Kevin Bakhurst, the Executive Director of the Abbey Theatre Mark O’Brien and the Chairperson of the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland and currently chair of the Arts Council NI, Mr. Liam Hannaway.
The groups competing at the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone, from 2nd May to 10th May 2024 are:
